I am a twenty year-old student from Berne, which is the very beautiful and charming Capital City of Switzerland.

This weblog is desgined to enable my family and friends to keep up with my doings and undoings in the far east. Beginning in late February, I will study the Chinese language at BLCU (Beijing Langugae and Culture University) in Beijing for one semester, before travelling around China and possibly other parts of the continent Asia. Sometime in August I ought to be found again on home grounds.

Feng Huang is Chinese and means Phoenix, an animal and symbol, for which I have a great liking . Times on this weblog are UTC +0800 (Beijing Local Time). I struggled to create this site with the great help of my beloved brother and my friend Luciano. Thanks so much!

 
Kurze Anmerkung auf Deutsch. Mit der englischen Sprache kann ich einen breiteren Kreis von Freunden auf dem Laufenden halten. Ich bitte daher “Nicht-Englisch-Sprechende” um Verständnis und hoffe, 1.) dass sie trotzdem das Wichtigste verstehen und vielleicht jemanden in der Nähe haben, der ihnen übersetzen mag und 2.) dass sie, wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, sich trotzdem von Zeit zu Zeit diese Seite zu Gemüte führen und die Photos erklären lassen.
